WLAN AutoConfig randomly stoping after updating to Windows 10 1511

After recently updating Windows 10 on my laptop, I've been experiencing a lot of problems with my Wi-Fi connectivity - which was working perfectly well before this version. I've tried to update some drivers on the laptop and have even uninstalled and reinstalled some others. The problem seems to be with the 'WLAN AutoConfig' service that I have to manually start over and over again each time the connection messes up despite having the startup type on automatic. Has anyone else experienced this and is there any way I could repair it?
