Hello; The question is ,Is the hardware manufactuerers going to make a up to date dialup modem for windows 10? I went through the trouble of upgrading my hardware 64 bit capable. had 64 bit windows 7 .Now after the download of windows 10. it is a 64 bit version. Problem, I can access the internet. however, Win 10 see's dialup as a bad connection.
It refuse's to update or even start the browser. It is useless to dialup user's. Least where i am. My vista works on dialup no problem. U may wait a bit, it doesn't refuse to load the page as newer browsers does. On the outside, it looks like some one in the industry is trying to bury dialup. Sorry, Us victims of dial up may suffer, Who my not have access to a faster connection and may find satalite internet too expensive for the amount of internet time being used.
I have stored away my brand new computer with windows 10 in the closet. Some day maybe. i don't know if i will get satalite. I cannot use windows 10 for now. With all the tech they have, i am sure they can come up with a app or up to date modem that will accomodate windows 10. Until then, vista is the machine for me. have no choice.
