Win 10: How to improve the radio signal strength of bluetooth connection?

Hi,

My Bluetooth Adapter and Bluettoth speakers have a maximum range of 10 meters. 

When I place the speaker near to my PC, the radio signal strength is stronger.

When I place it about 8 meter away the signal strength is very weak. The connection is unstable.

May I know if I can improve the signal strength by using a Blutooth Adapter with a maximum range of 100 meter?

The signal strength recorded by the System is it refer to the transmission from the PC to the speaker, or both or from the speaker to the PC?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

If your Bluetooth device is showing weak signals when it's near the device, it might be a hardware issue.

However, the signal strength is stronger when it's near and is weak when it's 8 meters away. That is how it works, there is no way that we can change the behavior to increase the range within Windows.

You may contact the manufacturer or visit a local store for hardware that supports higher range.
