Unable to connect to www.routerlogin.net using Microsoft Edge Windows 10

For some reason I'm unable to connect to routerlogin.net using Edge. Never had this problem before. I wanted to check for firmware updates for my router, which I have before, but now unable to connect using Edge. I can connect using Google Chrome, but unable to with Edge.  When I type the address in the address bar, it just disappears.
Hi tfc2211

A lot of users are reporting the exact same thing, a recent update seems to have caused this to happen to Edge. Microsoft are aware of this issue and will hopefully patch this as soon as possible . . .

Thanks for the reply DaveM121. I also think it is probably a recent update causing this problem and I hope it does get resolved soon.

Hello,

I'm Independent Advisor and Microsoft MVP, here to help you with your question.

Try re-registering Microsoft Edge. Perform these steps:

1. Search for Windows PowerShell using Cortana or Windows Search.

2. From results, right click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

3. Then type following command and press Enter key:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

Let the command complete.

4. Close Windows PowerShell and check Edge, it should work fine now.

Let us know if this helps!
