Recover deleted favorites in Edge

Hi,

Per my understanding, the deleted favorites still exist in the database, but marked as "deleted" and hidden from Favorites bar/menu. But I'm not sure how long they would be preserved in the database.

Try EdgeManage

From the View menu, click Show deleted items.

Then, right-click on the deleted favorite, and choose Undelete.

That's correct... they stay in the database for 30 days

Before seeing your response, I deleted a bunch of favorites in order to check how long the "IsDeleted" entries are retained in spartan.edb. So, you saved me a test.

The application itself has the email at the "Help->About" menu... plus the website has a "About Me" page that includes the email address of the author.

My web pages don't set the font at all... allowing the browser to choose what font to use.   For IE, I typically use Verdana... but unfortunately Edge doesn't have a convenient feature for changing the default font.

..... it said they were deleted by Roaming_MarkDBEntryDeleted .... Do you have any idea why this is?

It means that the entry was deleted because that is what the cloud ordered. It happens when a sync file is deleted from RoamingState, the folder that represents the cloud. This usually happens when you manually delete the item on another synced device and then it is up to the cloud to make sure that the item is deleted on all other synced devices.
