Network security key field Windows 10

I have instructions on how to find your password but when I follow those instructions I can't find it.  I can get to settings>Network & Internet.  I can get there and it gives me a list of all the networks but I want to get to the box that I actually input the password in.     The one that reads Network security key field.  I am trying to get this information so I can use it on a PC that I am going to format the hard drive and re-install Windows 10.  How can I find that?  The PC I am on already has the password protection so that may be why I can't find it.

Hi,

To get a better grasp of your query, kindly confirm which password are you referring to:

  • Is it a Wi-Fi network password?
  • A User account password?
  • An Administrator password?

I'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Thank you I have found the answer.  It is a Network Security Key.  I found it under Network & Internet.  The instructions I was reading told me how to get there but it did not say to SELECT the word "connect".  Just a minor detail that was left out.
