Homegroup is currently unavailable

Hi, all I get is this message when I try to view homegroup. I have 3 wifi units all connected to the same wifi in the same room. I can connect to the www with all units although nothing shows up in homegroup. I followed H R's advice in the help site where someone else was having a similar problem, I deleted old one and started new homegroup, but still get the same message. Am I missing something ?  New laptop upgrade to Windows 10 from 8.

Thanks for your feedback.

I can update my previous post by saying on New Years Day I finally decided to stop trying to figure out what was going on with W10 and local networking and just change my configuration.   Previously I had been using my ISP's DHCP which is built in to its (locked down) modem and which I knew did not support IPv6.  But this configuration had previously supported local networking including the Homegroup somehow.  Anyway, fortunately the modem is not so locked down that I could not disable its DHCP, so I did that and linked its single address to my DLink router which does support IPv6.  Now everything works again (except for some quirkiness with really ancient local host networking commands that doesn't bother me too much.)

FYI
