How to stop BackgroundTransferHost.exe?

Hi

I am using  Windows 10 Enterprise Build 1607 x64 and I am facing an annoying problem. Every time I turn on the PC or wake it up from the standby a file called BackgroundTransferHost.exe start to download a large file.

I have a slow internet connection (512 Kb/s) and with this speed sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes to finish. It is really annoying and nobody can use internet in that 15 minutes and there is no way to stop it.

Sometimes even it starts to download in the middle of my works and that is when I want to shout I hate microsoft!

What is that and how to stop it?

Breaking Windows is not the answer. Windows 10 is a combination of software and services. Your available bandwidth is insufficient for Windows 10.

because of having slow connection I do not deserve to use Windows 10?!!!

So why Microsoft forcing people to use Windows 10? There are lots of people who does not have a fast connection for windows 10 to eat the whole bandwidth.

I am not using an online OS. This is an offline OS so I must have control on what is downloading and uploading and block what is not necessary for me.

I am controlling the OS not the OS.

I decide what is my priority not the OS.
