Can't watch Sky go extra on Microsoft Edge

My pc is running Windows 10 and I can't watch Sky go extra on Microsoft Edge. It only supports Internet Explorer

can I download IE?

To make Microsoft Edge a faster, smoother browsing experience, it was designed to use the latest technologies. If the website you are trying to view uses older technologies, such as certain types of frames or ActiveX controls, it won’t display correctly in Edge.

Rather than displaying a broken page, or not displaying it at all, Edge directs you to Internet Explorer so that you can view the page in a browser that still supports those older technologies.

Is Microsoft doing anything to allow sky go in edge - it defeats the purpose of wanting viewers to use edge.  Just one of the many drawbacks of edge.

And whilst Edge "redirects" you to Internet Explorer, it does not allow you to actually "load" Internet Explorer - nor can you reinstall Internet Explorer, as the Edge system does not allow this to be registered if you do try.
