Windows 10 Lock Screen Slideshow Settings

The lockscreen slideshow is working smoothly.

But there is a feature I want to turn off: sometimes the locksreen consist of several grids, each with an image in it

There are some animations for those images too, like slowly zooming in/out.

I want the locksreen image always to be full-screen image slideshow. However, I cannot find a setting to do so.

I would like to ask if there is way to turn off that feature.

Hi Alan,

You can change your Lock screen settings by following the steps below:

  1. On the Start Menu click on Settings.
  2. On Settings click on Personalization.
  3. Choose Lock screen on the list of options on the left.
  4. On the Background drop down box select Picture.
  5. Choose your preferred background picture.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your reply. But this is not what I asked. May be my description is a bit messy, let me attach some images for easier understanding.

Photo 2

Photo 3

Sorry for the inverted images, just don't know why they get inverted when I upload via mobile.

I want the slideshow always make the images fullscreen like Photo 1, and never show grids of images like Photo 2, 3. All background images I used are large enough for fullscreen display. As you can see image in Photo 1 also appears in top left of Photo 3.(top left - from a not inverted view)

You can change the image size on the Choose a fit option to Stretch or Fit on the Personalization > Background. See the image below:

This does not work. Seems that settings for background are not used for lock screen slideshow.

I try checked the option that only use images fitting screen size in advance slideshow settings. Still not work.

Provide a screenshot of the settings that you have on the Personalization window (Background, Lock screen) so we can assess the issue further.

Top left is my current background settings. Top right show the list of options and I have tested them all and none of them work.

Bottom left is my current lock screen settings. Bottom right show the advanced slideshow settings.

Regards.

Have you tried using the default Windows background and see if the grid view still occurs?

Well, I haven't tried. But as I observed my colleague's computer, grid view will not occur for the default Windows background.

Hi

In Advanced slideshow settings there is an option to use only pictures that fit my screen, I don't know if works or if you've already tried it.
