Lockscreen Issue (Windows 10 Anniversary Update)

1. What is the default picture location which you are using for the Lock screen background?
2. Have you installed all pending Windows updates?

Try selecting Windows Spotlight as you Lock screen background and check if the picture is showing up in the background to check.

Select the Start button, then select Settings > Personalization > Lock screen. Next select Windows Spot light.

Thanks for reply, But i am having same issue when using Windows Spotlight ! And yes i have downloaded all pending Updates. Please tell me what can i do now ?

I got the same issue. I am using Windows Spotlight as lock screen background. OS. Build 14393.51 Now.

I found a solution in the following link. It worked for my issue. The only difference is that when I opened the configuration screen, the "Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing" checkbox was already checked. So, I uncheck - recheck the option and save. I don't know why this action could solve the problem, but for reference.

i have done exactly of what you're suggesting, but still the lock screen although i have windows spotlight at my lock screen settings, the image that displays every time that i turn my laptop on is the same like i have chosen a picture instead of windows spotlight...plus the app that i have chosen to display my city's weather doesn't work either...neither the yahoo mail  app works when i choose it to show me all my new e-mails instead of the weather app...it's a problem that you have to fix i have installed all the latest updates that you have released...{please forgive my English, thanks} 

Update. I found that the solution I mentioned above only worked before system restart. After I restarted the computer, the issue happens again.

Try these method ----- Go to - Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>System>Advanced System Settings

and then go to performance settings and then check - let windows choose what best for my computer.

And then search for  these system settings - Other ease of access settings. and turn on Play animations in windows
