I I click set up, go through adding the print and then it asked for a pin. After I put the pin in it takes me back to the set up button and no fingerprint saved.

Hello Carson,

We understand that you're having challenges with setting up your Windows Hello. There could be some files that are missing or not properly set up and this could be a possible reason why you're experiencing this. We need more details for us to provide you the appropriate solution. As such, please provide us the answers to the following questions:

  • What is the make and model of your device?
  • Did you make any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
  • What is the version and build of your Windows 10 PC? To check that, simply type winver on the search, then hit on the Enter key.
  • Are you getting any error message when you try to add a fingerprint?

In the meantime, we suggest that you update the drivers in your Windows 10 computer and check if it helps.

Looking forward to your response.
