Windows 10 Lock Screen Problem

Hi,

I have an MSI gaming laptop with Windows 10 Pro Version 1703 running.

I'm facing a peculiar problem related to screen lock.

1. If I press CTRL+ALT+DEL and then choose "Lock" option, the system shows a gray screen with a spinning dotted circle for around 2 to 3 minutes and then comes back to the login screen after I press random keys.

2. If I press Windows Key + L, then the screen becomes black, (mouse moves though), and comes back after a 2 to 3 minutes after I press some random keys.

Could anyone help me to solve this?

P.S> This happens irrespective of the Lock Screen -> Background choices.

Thanks.

Hi,

Kindly check the attached screenshot of the commands ran in safemode.

1) sfc /scannow result:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired
them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.

2) DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth result:

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.15063.0

Image Version: 10.0.15063.0

[==========================100.0%==========================] The component store is repairable.
The operation completed successfully.

Therefore did not run the /Restorehealth option anymore.

Kindly suggest what else can be done. The delay of 2 to 3 minutes of appearing the lock screen continues.

Thanks!
