Windows 10 Brightness control for external monitors

Hi, so you can adjust the brighntess of your monitor via hdmi, its an hdmi feature and for macOS there is a programm called Monitor Control which really changes your brightness of your monitor

Is there an app for windows too ?

Why isnt it in the system itself

Hello Theredmc, I am Andrew an independent advisor. You can change the brightness from within the system control app for your specific video card, as well as within the Windows setting for the display adapter if connected to your motherboard. Some systems use both. What is the make of your video card? If say Nvidia you should find the Nvidia control in the right side of the taskbar. Same goes for others. You may also open the control panel and find the brightness setting.
You can find it in the System/Display area. Open Settings from your start menu to get there.

Kind Regards,
Andrew Way
