Seagate GoFlex not compatible with Windows 10

I just downloaded the Windows 10 update and now it says Dashboard is not supported. I can not find my Seagate GoFlex external 3T drive. It's a wireless connection and I've looked everywhere to see if I can see it on my network and in wireless but it's gone.

Any help on getting this would be appreciated since I have a lot of photos and financial on this drive.

This is a shared external drive between 2 desktops and 1 laptop. The other desktop and laptop can still see it but they are still running Windows 7

Hi,

I'm now able to access my GoFlex but the dashboard is still showing up as not supported. Not sure why but as long as I can access the drive I'm happy.

Thank you for your help

Thank you Microsoft for your reply. I have the same problem: Seagate Dashboard (with precious data) is as I found out not compatible with Windows 10. My question: "You can refer to the link to install ...." in your reply is either to the link immediately above or below, but neither has a section "Apply a compatibility mode" that I could see?? Any suggestions on what I'm missing would be most welcome!

I also had issues after upgrading to Windows 10 with my Seagate FreeAgent Go Flex Home 1T external hard drive - model number STAM1000100.

I called Seagate technical help and they were eventually able to resolve the compatibility by asking me to remove the Seagate programme from my computer and then go to this link - Go flexhome Software:
http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/item/goflex-home-iso-software-master/

I downloaded the link, created the install CD as per the instructions and then re-installed the software and now it is all working perfectly.  If you have the same model this will resolve your compatibility issues.

I did not find any drivers or solution for windows 10 and Golfex Home. Is there a simple way to just uninstall windows 10 and go back to windows 7?

I've had the same issue having updated 2 laptops to Windows 10 recently, One works fine and the other half works!

The laptop that works fine is 64 bit, and was updated from Windows 8 to 10.  I'm not sure if any of this makes any difference but my goFlex home Seagate network drive works fine with no issues.  The Dashboard worked first time and the X, Y and Z drives are visible and accessible via explorer.

The second laptop is 32 bit and was upgraded from Windows 7 to 10.

The Seagate Dashboard worked fine, connecting to my Seagate network drive without any errors, but the X, Y and Z drives are not visible or accessible via explorer, making it a bit useless.

I've tried un-installing the Dashboard and re-installing it and get no issues doing this, but end up with the same result.

I have also tried setting the Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 for the Dashboard executables, but that made no difference either.  I still can't access the network drive via explorer.

I will try and download the ISO file from the link mentioned by JohnAshwell above and see how that works, but having read a number of forums on this issue, I'm not expecting much.

Last resort will be to revert back to Windows 7 which I know there is an option to do, but would prefer not to have to do that.

If anybody has any other ideas on how to resolve this without having to reinstall the Dashboard software then would appreciate it.

Per the above I uninstalled the old Goflex Dashboard and followed the instructions here:

http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/item/seagate-dashboard-windows-master-dl/

The dashboard isn't as visually appealing, but it works with Windows 10.

I just got the GoFlex dashboard to work on Windows 10 by uninstalling and re-installing from the link posted above

it didn't work earlier when I used my original installation CD.

Just to clarify my problem, my Dashboard is working fine, or at least appears to be connecting to my GoFlex drive without any issues.  It's file explorer that is not working - I get no X, Y and Z drives showing so I can only access my GoFlex drive as a UPNP-AV link, which is not exactly useful.

I'm pretty sure it's because my laptop was originally 32 bit (as mentioned earlier), but after the Windows 10 upgrade it is now 64 bit.
This leads me to think that it's a driver issue, as I have already had to fix a different issue by replacing a 32 bit driver for a 64 bit one. So I reckon this is going to be a similar problem.  I just don't know which driver to change.

If anybody knows how to resolve this then please let me know.
