Printer Ask for Username and Password

Why am I getting this window prompting me with password that I never set up and would like to remove it to be able to access my printer settings over the network?

It is setting specific to your printer and you will need to check your printer's manual to fix this issue.

Are you typing correct IP Address?

Printer might setup default username and password for security reason.

First of all, thank you for a quick reply back! I am typing in our network IP address and password but it is not accepting it. So are you stating that the printer is probably setting up a default username and password? How do i figure that out?

Judging by the name, do you have a DVR connected to the network? It looks like the address of the same is being picked up.

If the assumption is wrong, the login details are in the printer manual usually. We can help to find, tell us the make and model of the printer.

Hi Summit, we do have a TIVO on the network. I am using HP Photosmart 110E. I am assuming that the address coming up is to our router and I know that username and password for it but it is not accepting them.

This is not a message from Windows and either it is from printer or TIVO, you will need to check these device configurations and make sure you are entering the correct username and password.
