Keyboard does not exist, code 10

hi, so long story short, my touchpad isnt working, in device manager i have 2 of Lenovo keyboard device, one working properly the other one not working, also for the not working one, in the driver status the message is:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

A device which does not exist was specified.

 i tried troubleshooting, tried to download from the support.lenovo.com (cause i have a lenovo laptop, more specifically ideapad 3-15IIL05), one more thing is that in the registry editor, for keyboard i have a lastdeletedate, but i dont remember uninstalling the device.

what should i do, and how can i fix it?

Hi, my name is Talita. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be glad help you today.

I understand your frustration. This code 10 means that the device cannot be started because of a corrupted or outdated driver, and even some problem with the hardware device itself.
See these methods:

Update the driver
Go to the manufacturer's website and download the touchpad and keyboard driver compatible with the Windows 10 operating system and install.

You can also use the Control Panel Troubleshooting

Press the keys
Windows + Q, type in the search bar control panel - troubleshooting;
Click on the icon and option
Hardware and sound click on Configure a device;
click in
Go ahead and solve problems as an administrator;
Now click on
close troubleshooting.

If necessary, there is also a clean boot
Clean boot.

Press the Windows + R keys, type MSconfig and click OK;
In the System Configuration window click on the services tab;
At the bottom of the screen, check the Hide all Microsoft services box and click Disable all;
Now click on the Programs Startup tab and click on Open Task Manager;
In the task manager window on the startup tab, disable all non-Microsoft programs, close the task manager and
click ok in system configuration and restart your computer if prompted.

NOTE: This procedure disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is resolved in this way
way, enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, selectively, instead of keeping all disabled.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Sincerely
Talita C.

If possible, try this method, in some cases it resolved because it took away the accumulated energy waste.

1) Shut down the notebook.
2) Remove the power supply and battery from the notebook.
3) Keep the Power button pressed for 40 seconds to eliminate any residual energy that may be accumulated.
4) Install the battery and power supply again.
5) Turn on the notebook and check if the problem has been corrected

Sincerely
