HOW TO DISABLE AUTOMATIC DRIVER UPDATE IN WINDOWS 10 HOME

New updated driver doesn't work smoothly for my laptop. So, Is there any way to disable automatic driver update (PERMANENTLY) when I update window's cumulative/security update?

Hi,
I am Ganesh Gandhi, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

You can continue with update window's cumulative/security update.

Kindly follow these steps to disable automatic driver update (PERMANENTLY)
1. In Start open Control Panel.
2. Choose System and Security
3. In System > open Advanced system settings from the left sidebar
4. Under Hardware tab > you can see Device Installation Settings button, click on it.
5. Select 'No' and Save changes.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.

I asked you not to choose that my answer didn't help until I had the chance to help you further. May I ask why you did that? Did you want my help?

It shows specific ways to block individual Updates in the first link so a driver Update is not offered again.

It also shows a registry Update to block all driver Updates for Home version in the second link.

So both links specifically addressed your issue, which I knew since they've worked for others I've linked them for hundreds if not thousands of times.
