A few months ago, I disabled my Windows PC touch screen through the Deivce Manager under "Human Interface Devices". I went to the "HID-compliant touch screen" and disabled it. I did this because my touchscreen went haywire after about a year of use. I was on windows 8.1 when I did this, and didn't' have any problems after disabling it. But after I upgraded to Windows 10, my touchscreen still went haywire, even though it was completely disabled. I then went back to the "Human Interface Devices" subsection in the Device Manager, only to see that the HID-compliant touch screen option is no longer here. Here is what it looks like:
My laptop is an "HP ENVY TouchSmart m6 Sleekbook"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
