Bluetooth driver won't install

Hello

I'm having trouble installing a bluetooth driver. I downloaded the correct Realtek driver from the asus site for my laptop (F555LJ) for Windows 10. The files downloaded to a zip which i extracted to a separate folder under program files. However when I open the install file nothing happens.

There is no pre-existing bluetooth driver apparent on the device manager.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THanks

Hi Kevin,

Let's install the Bluetooth driver using device manager and then check if it works.

a: Press Windows key + X.

b: Then click Device Manager.

c: In Device Manager window, expand categories and locate the device that you wish to update the driver for.

d: Then right-click on the device name and select Update Driver Software.

e: In the pop-up window, you will see two options. Click Browse my computer for driver software.

f: Click on Browse to find the location of the downloaded driver file.

then follow the instructions.

Please revert if you face any issues with installing the Bluetooth drivers.

This has not been resolved. Could someone reply and please understand that the bluetooth driver is not visible in the device manager.
