CANON MF4350 PRINTER/SCANNER/COPIER ATTACHED VIA USB

USB device is not recognized by Windows 10 and it was the day before.  It gets pretty old having Microsoft do an update and something that worked on one day does not work on the next day.  Microsoft puts ups solutions to the problem but it appears that MICROSOFT IS THE PROBLEM.

I have been using the FAX and Scan program since July 29th with no problems and now on October 13, something changed because fax and scanner do not connect.

I do not care that the fastring systems have problems but when a build 10240 system continually has problems with USB devices that work one day and do not work the next the something has to be done.  MICROSOFT FIX IT right the first time.

Please provide a copy of your System Information file. To access your System Information file select the keyboard shortcut Win+R, type msinfo32 and press the ENTER key. Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Do not place the cursor within the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed. You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload the file to your OneDrive, share with everyone and post a link here. Reports in normal mode preferred. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode.

Please upload and share with everyone fresh copies of your System and Application logs (two files) from your Event Viewer to your One Drive and post a link here. You can remove the earlier copies of the logs from your OneDrive.

To access the System log select the keyboard shortcut Win+R, type eventvwr.msc and press the ENTER key. From the list in the left side of the window select Windows Logs and System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and Save All Events as (the default evtx file type) and give the file a name. Do the same for the Applications log. Do not provide filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting Action from the menu. Do not clear logs whilst you have a continuing problem.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my problems.

At the same time the referenced printer/scanner/copier dropped

off so did my HP Lazerjet 300-400 color printer.  Have been trying to

locate anything that will get the color printer back on line but unable to use the device address 192.168.1.12.  Very very frustrated since these printers were working properly last week.

Very sorry if I send you garbage, this is way over my head.

If you have time take a look at this screen shot I took of the scanner

that was having a problem and now I can at least print to it.  No scanner

but printer works.

I am not sure what happened but BOTH my printers now work the way they should.

This was almost 7 days that they were down for some unknown reason.  I don't think I did anything to make them come back.

Would you please DELETE all of the information in these replies.  Particularly the

System and Application notes.  I am very interested in being secure and confidential.

Thank you very much for your assistance if you did anything and if you did not

do anything, thank you for answering my plea for help.
