Razer Kraken Pro mic not working/not detected on windows 10

My razer kraken pro stopped working after the update to windows 10. I tried reinnstalling the drivers through realtek and now all i have is something labelled "microphone array", and "razer line in". my built in mic works just fine but the mic on the headset does not. After unplugging and replugging the headset the headset worked but not the mic. microphone array works now when i have my headset plugged in but my razer mic does not. any help?

I suggest you to try the methods below and check if this helps.

Method 1: You can try setting the headphone as default and check if the issue persists.

a. Right click on the volume icon in the system tray and then click "Recording devices"

b. Right click on the blank space in the popped up window and then select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices"

c. Right click on Headphone and then click "Enable"

d. Highlight the microphone and then choose "Set as Default Device"

e. Click Apply and Ok.

Method 2: Let's adjust the volume for your microphone and check if it is set as default.

a. Right click the speaker icon which is on the right bottom corner of the desktop screen of the taskbar.

b. Click on Sounds, click the Recording tab.

c. Click Microphone, and then click Properties. (Note: Make sure that Working appears under Microphone. If Working does not appear, click Microphone, and then click Set Default.)

d. In the Microphone Properties dialog box, click the Custom tab.

e. Select or clear the Microphone Boost check box.

f. Click the Levels tab.

g. Adjust the volume slider to the level that you want, and then click OK.

h. Click OK to close the Sound dialog box.

Method 1: my microphone is not showing up in recording devices. There is nothing label headphones in record devices, only razer line-in and microphone array.

Method 2: microphone array is my built in mic and nothing labeled microphone shows up in recording devices

after updating it still didn't work, so i unplugged and replugged the headset and it finally recognized the headphones, but for some reason after my pc goes into sleep mode or after i restart it, my heaphones stop working.

factory reset to try to fix still not working?extremely quiet. did another test, microphone went quiet mid skype call. i went to recording devices tried speaking and none of the green bars went up. i still dont have anything labelled headphones either.
