HTTP dependency for print spooler

I'm using Windows 10 and lost print capability with my Epson XP-810 printer following an automatic update that occurred overnight on 26 September.  I went into services and right clicked on print spooler and checked on dependencies.  RPC and HTTP were listed. I started RPC, set it for automatic and went looking for HTTP.  HTTP was not listed so I'm unable to start the print spooler.  I went through this process about a year ago and had no problem as the HTTP service was listed but it's no longer there.  How can I restore the HTTP function?

Hello Richard,

Let's get your printer working again.

Kindly refer to the link below and follow Evollo's steps:

Print Spool

We can also isolate each printer drivers and find if any driver is the root cause.

To isolate the printer driver, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button, type Print Management in the Start Search box and press ENTER to open the window.
  2.  Click All Drivers in the left pane. In the right pane, right-click on one printer driver and highlight Set Driver Isolation then select Isolated.
  3. Start a printing job and see if printer spooler crashes. If it still crashes, change the driver isolation of the driver back to System Default (Shared). Then continue to isolate the next driver.

You can also try to re-install your printer driver.
