Dual monitors problem

Hi,

I connected two monitors to my video card by using VGA and DVI connectors and cables.
When the windows 10 starts it's unable to recognise the monitor which connected to the DVI.

I had GeForce GT 430 NVIDIA Gigabyte card.
I already tried to replace the DVI cable and also replaced the video card to a new GT 710 and still with the same problem.
Also tried to install the windows again several times (when connected only to the DVI screen and also again when connected to both screens)
Still with the same problem, the windows can't detect the DVI monitor.
(Updated the drivers of both GeForce cards with windows update & also manual)
Pressing the Windows key + P and trying to choose extend display don't help at all.

The first monitor have only VGA port,
When I tried to connect only the second monitor with the DVI port, the windows don't able to recognize the second monitor and the screen turns off after the windows finish his loading at the windows startup (there is a message on the screen "No video input, Entering sleep mode").
When I tried to connect the second monitor with VGA port, it's work correctly but it's not solving the problem because that I need the VGA port for the first monitor (which have only VGA port...).

Very frustrated problem, especially after buying new video card.
Please help me with this problem.

As I already mentioned in my question, I already tried to detect the second monitor on the graphics settings and it can not detect the second screen (there is a red message that another display not detected).

Please check again the links you mentioned, It's looks like they are not existing any more.

Hi,

You have me confused - if the monitor setup works with either being one and the other two then you can easily swap the monitor positions in Settings - System - Display - Advanced Display Settings - grab one and move it to the left of two.

If that is not the issue check with the maker of your video cards - their support and forums.

Hope this helps.

I installed all the Windows Updates and tried to update the graphics driver, there it writes me that Windows determine the driver up to date.

As I mentioned in the question, I also tried to detect second monitor on the display settings and it writes me that second screen did not detected, even two monitors connected to the graphics card.

I also tried to replace the graphics card to a newer one and installed all the new and needed updates for it from Windows Update, as for the old one and again Windows can not detect the second monitor, using these two graphics cards.

How can I make Windows to detect two monitors, and why it does not do it automatically for me?

My problem is that I connect two monitors to the computer (graphics card) and Windows detect always only one monitor.

When I click detect in display settings and the second monitor plugged to the graphics card, it writes me that other monitor can not be detected.

Why Windows do not detect that two monitors are connected and detecting only one?

I use Nvidia GeForce graphic cards.

Hi,

You need to check with Nvidia Support, their on-line documentation and drivers, and ask in their forums about any known issues. Those cards may have a hardware or software conflict.

Nvidia - Drivers - Use OPTION 1 to manually enter your driver info to get most current drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Nvidia Support - check with Support as it could be a known issue
http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html

Nvidia Forums - also check for forums as it could be a known issue and/or others likely to have it
http://forums.nvidia.com/

Hope this helps.
