Have you looked in the disk in File Explorer to see what is on the drive?

Have you run Windows Defender and Malwarebytes?

If you are using a backup program on the (C:) drive that saves to the (D:) drive it will fill it up after a while if it does not limit the size of the backup folder.

Did you look at the Quarantine folder in Malwarebytes and remove the ones there?

Hi,

When you scan your computer using Windows Defender, it will delete those files automatically or it will move those files to Quarantine which you can delete later on. Upon seeing the scan results of Windows Defender, it seems that it is detecting that your backup files are threats. Since the files are backup files, it is possible that they are the reason why your Local Disk (D:) drive is full. Like what lacrumb mentioned, if you're using a backup program that backs up your files in the Local Disk (C:) and saves it in the Local Disk (D:), it will definitely take the majority of the disk space. We recommend that you access the Local Disk (D:) and check what are the files there that you can delete.

Let us know how it goes.

I am having the same problem, except that when I scan the Drive with my antivirus (Trendy Micro), it shows that there are 0 files. At first, when I just looked inside the Drive, I thought that the files may be invisible or something like that, as I have had folders for other programs that showed nothing inside, but the fact that my antivirus can't find anything leaves me somewhat concerned.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Select "Show Hidden Files and Folders" as shown here to see what if anything is on the drive.
