What does the term "web slice gallery" mean please?

Thanks for that - I partially understand - I found the shortcut in a Favourites File.

I cannot imagine how I personally might use the facility or know how to tell whether the Item I supplied an Image of came from or whether it is harmful.

I know how to delete the shortcut - but cannot see how to get to the file "holding" the actual link to the download.

I am not very technologically competent, where computer programmes are concerned.

I hope I get some more information to help me become more competent.
