saving in a file location not allowed

I am trying to use a program called ccomp, its a stand alone efi program I use to tune efi vehicles, my old laptop crashed, got his new one and installed the program, went well, but when I go to save a file in the program it says please contact sytem admin due to I do have access to save to this location with in the program.....I am the system admin and im not sure to how to unlock this.....any help is much apricated.

in order to protect integrity of the windows installation some folders are only accessible by certain system 'users'. in addition some folders are protected against ransomware,

have you tried running the software as an administrator?
right click on the executable and select run as administrator.

what is the location (full path) you are trying to save to?
