So my Onedrive is telling me that I'm using up too much data (6GB out of 5GB) and my desktop is apparently synced onto there, and that's what's taking up 6 GB. I attempted to un-sync the desktop from settings, but it did nothing except now most (if not all) of my desktop files are gone and replaced with 1 file called "Shortcut to Onedrive", so I might I have successfully done the opposite of what I wanted, and perhaps uploaded my desktop to Onedrive.
I heard that just clicking the " Unlink PC" button resolves this, but idk if I'll lose my my desktop files this way. don't know what to. I don't need Onedrive, and I don't want to lose my files so I just need some support
