My Games Are Constantly Lagging (Most Crash)

All of my games lag and most crash when I try to load into a level, even Steam games, the only exception is Clicker Heroes which doesn't lag at all, games with low visual settings don't crash (Like the game "Rake") but instead lag extremely and it isn't getting better

Other Info:

It's only affecting my computer (Tried a friend's laptop - no problems so it can't be a problem happening at Valve or Microsoft)

I've tried:

Deleting a lot of stuff on my computer, when I started it was at least 840GB now it's 822 GB, it didn't lag at this level before but it is now

Updating everything on my computer (Including the display drivers)

Verifying the integrity of the game files on Steam

Restarting my computer

Shutting off my computer and turning it back on the next day

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Talking to Steam Support

Talking to Microsoft support


Switching internet networks

So far nothing was successful

Hi,
When was the last time Windows was installed on your PC? I like ot do a fresh install every so often. Have these games ever been ok and have slowed down?

What do you mean "Last time Windows was installed on your PC?", and these games have worked fine before with barely any lag to no lag at all, but this problem is affecting even the low quality games like Turbo Dismount, and it's only affecting this system, I've tried another and it's fine on a different one, so it's something on my PC

Right, i find windows tends to get bogged down every so often. Can be bad patches or a number of reasons. I find the quickest way to fix it is backing up all my data to an external drive or location and wiping my computer and re-installing Windows. Its far quicker then trying lots of little fixes that might not work at all.

Try updating the display drivers. That's the first thing I'd do if games were running slow.

That's definitely weird. What are the specs of your PC?

Also, you should definitely run a virus scan with Defender and/or Malwarebytes. After that run SFC and DISM as instructed in this link,

Oh and apparently all 360 videos on YouTube also lag extremely

What graphics card do you have?
