Microsoft Complaints Department?

Hi, does anyone know any direct phone number or email address for Microsoft Complaints Department (if it even exists)?

Long story short, one of their Support Techs deleted all of my important personal files from my expansion drive while attempting to download the Windows 10 ISO and have basically fobbed me off since doing it. I've now had to pay £100 of my own money to have the data on the hard drive professionally recovered as the Tech had made that drive into an "installation media" without any prior warning.

I have been bounced back and forth between departments and even got put through to Microsoft Security at one point!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

This response is useless. If I have a complaint I would like to do it in person over the phone or over a web application. People don't have time to write a letter and post it anymore. Oh, and come to find out after calling the number given on the link, Microsoft does not even have a complaint department. How convenient.

If you were to write a letter to the address given earlier, it would be directed to someone who deals with complaints, regardless of whether there's a dedicated department for such things.  Don't have time to write a letter? Really?  But you do, of course, have time to "...do it in person over the phone..." (an impossible task, btw).  Please.  There are 1.25 billion Windows installations worldwide, and I think Microsoft might be open to hearing your plan for how personalized answers to all possible questions and complaints might be feasible.

Cortana is a nightmare -- ive disabled every control and the stupid window pops up on almost every click -- how to I completely remove it from my pc -- it makes my pc useless.

It's my intent to go back to best buy and get a refund -- I want windows 7 without cortana.

I read the blogs and everyone hates it, it's abusive.

And don't ask me to mail you a letter.

So today microsoft decided to break my pc with one of their windows 10 updates to protect me from a virus which apparently tries to steal snippets of information from memory chips. This update has made it so that i get a black screen when i try to boot up my pc. In desperation i contacted microsoft through facebook on my phone and their advice was brilliant....follow a link to download a patch. Well thanks i would love to follow this advice but i dont have another pc to download the file

Do you have a USB drive and a neighbor that owns a pc? Ask if you may download the file to the USB drive then install the patch on your pc..

I agree Microsoft should be held accountable for their poor customer service. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for a month with a lot of back and forth. They give you a window in which they will return a call and the call is either not returned or not during the time   frame window. As of today I still do not have my issue resolved

I know this thread may be a little old but my frustration is just as high.  Every time Windows 10 updates it changes to much in the system, for example personal settings etc.  (but hey they do give more garbage games and useless apps to use!

Recently, June 25, 2018 I suddenly discover that my Microsoft OneDrive application does not work and cannot be reinstalled.  This is not the Windows 10 App that is available in their fancy little game and apps store.  This is the full app down loaded then installed from the Microsoft website.  Of course there is no real helpline or complaint as you mention.

After 10 years of working with Microsoft systems and software I really think it is time to switch to Apple.  It may cost a little more but at least the system is maintenance free and doesn't screw the customer each time it does an update.
