Gmail desktop icon

How can I get a Gmail desktop icon shortcut in Windows 10?
|
Hello KarenReitano
Go to the local Disk (C:) > Gmail App Folder > right click in Gmail.exe > create shortcut.

Also you can open the app> right click in the app > pin to taskbar
I hope it helps you

Hi,

1-Go to your Gmail inbox using your browser of choice.
2-Copy the text that is in the address bar (see below if you don't know what that is)
3-Go to the desktop and right-click, then choose New>Shortcut.
4-Paste the webpage address you copied into the 'Create Shortcut' dialogue.

As an alternative (if you use Edge as your browser) open the Gmail sign-in page and select the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of the browser and then Pin this page to the taskbar.

Hi Karen. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

It's easier to have a Task Bar icon so it's accessible while other Windows are open. Right click on the app in the All Apps list to choose More > Pin to Taskbar.

Add a Desktop shortcut by choosing More > Open File Location, then find Google Chrome in the list to right click and Send to: Desktop (shortcut).

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
