Buffalo Nas Navigator

I have a Buffalo Network storage device, and I am unable to access the files on it through file explorer.

I was able to access these files on older versions of windows, but not on windows 10.

Any ideas please.

What is it and how is it attached to the computer?

Have you looked in Disk Management to see if it has a drive letter?

Have you looked in Device Manager to see if it is active?

Hi Didge,

If you try \\XX.XX.XX.XX (IP address of NAS), any luck?

Let me know!

Not sure if you already have the NAS Navigator software for Buffalo, but it may help the connection:

There are no error message showing.

The drive does not show up under storage in the network.

When I click on network in file explorer, the drive does not show up.

Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center - Change Advanced Sharing Settings

Under network discovery, and file/print sharing, are they are on? Also

Expand your network, and look for "turn off password protected sharing" and toggle it off.

Let me know if this helps!

When was the last update installed on your PC? I’m seeing more and more people having this issue, and I’m wondering if it’s related to a recent update.

Let me know!
