I can't format My micro SD card on Win10 yet I can read it's contents, error card is write protected please release the write-protect

I can't format My micro SD card on Win10 yet I can read it's contents a pop up message always says windows was enable to complete the format.

I tried through  the software SD formatter it is telling me that the card is write protected please release the write-protect switch but it is not write protected though I tried many times to switch on and off to make sure is ok but no results.

any help please.

Sorry i mean when you run regedit   I cant remember where you drill down to in the registry to change the allow SD to fromat from 000001 to 0. It was a fix on previous versions of windows.

Anyway i have found a work around using a usb interface .

Just Right Click My Computer Choose Manage 
Then at Computer Management choose Disk Management 
At Disk "XX" Right Click at your "Protect Removable Disk" ex: "Removable Disk (F:)" 
and Choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths for ....." 
Simple Click "REMOVE", then Click "ADD", simple .... 
Try to Format Yours then Try to Copy Another files

taken from elsewhere but it seems to work for me.
