I want to delete some photos on my pc. But when I try it says {we couldn't delete one or more of the files. Another app might be using them or you might not have permission to delete them}.

As this is my pc. how can I not have permission?

         Hoping someone can help very confusing.

We understand your concern and will certainly assist you to solve it.


Please try to take the ownership of the photo and check if the issue persist.


a)  Go to the drive that contains the photos file or Folder whose ownership you want to change.

b)  Right Click of mouse on that file or Folder and Choose “Properties“.

c)  Navigate to “Security” tab.

d)  Click on Edit, then click Add.

e) Under the "Enter the object names to select box"- type "Everyone"(without quotes) and click on "Check names".

f) Click Ok

g) A new window will open up with Security tab- Under "Permisssions for Everyone", Check mark the "Full control" option.

h) Apply and Ok.

i) Ownership allowed for folder or file .
