File explorer restarts when I try to delete or rename files

When I try to delete or rename a file or shortcut on Windows 10 Creators Update the exlorer crashes for a few seconds instead of showing the prompt to delete, same when I try to empty the recycle bin, however third party software like ccleaner still lets me empty it

Performed 3 clean installs from different isos and it starts fine, then the problem always comes back permanently at a random moment, this never happened on other windows 10 versions so it should be a bug on this build

Can you do the following:

Windows Key + S > type view all  reports then click on "View all problem reports Control panel"

Can you right-click on a few of the "Windows Explorer" "Stopped working" errors > View technical details

What are the details of the errors?

The error points to the gdi32full.dll which is a component of Windows.

However another, possible third party, module may actually be causing the crash.

It may help to see what modules are loading during the crash.

Can you download and run the following application (AppCrashView):

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html

Click on one of the recent explorer.exe errors.

Can you copy and paste the information that appears in the lower window that has loaded modules.

There are several third party modules that have the potential to cause the issue, such as the igfxDTCM.dll (from Intel graphics) and nvshext.dll (from NVIDIA graphics). There are others.

Since the issue may be occurring with a right-click the problem could be a problematic third party context menu handler.

The following link has some info and a download to ShellExView which you can use to selectively disable third party context menu handlers to find out a problematic one:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm

You could try disabling all non-Microsoft context menu handlers and then, if the problem resolves, re-enable them one at a time to see which one was the problem.

Another way that has the potential to get to the root of the issue is analyzing a user mode dump file of the crash.

Instructions on creating user mode dumps for Explorer crashes in the following link:
