This was 1 of the really annoying features of Windows 8 and I am dismayed to see it is still there in windows 8.1, is there still no option to remove apps from the windows store history?
I COMPLETELY AGREE, THERE SHOULD BE AN UPDATE TO FIX THIS ISSUE.
I EXPECTED MORE FLEXIBILITY WITH MICROSOFT COMPARE TO APPLE.

I'm getting tired of ancient history in my apps long since uninstalled. I don't ever want to see again but MS wont let me remove them permanently from the list. What moron came up with that idea??!!!

I REALLY DISLIKE THIS FEATURE ,THESE APP THAT ARE NOT INSTALLED STILL HAVE ASSETS TO OUR INFORMATION BECAUSE WE AGREE TOIT . SIMPLY TRYING OUT APPS CAUSE A BUILD-UP. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DELETE IF I OR WE WANTED BACK WE KNOW HOW.

Yeah I'm annoyed with this too. Please Microsoft allow users to remove apps from the app history like apple and google/andriod.
YES LIKE GOOGLE/ANDROID
Android apps are saved once they are installed to a list of ALL APPS (even if you uninstall them), however, you do have the option to select apps that are uninstalled and permanently remove them from this list. You can select them, and BULK DELETE if you wish or delete them one at a time.
It is the USERS CHOICE HOW THEY ARE MANAGED, even though they are initially saved to help you quickly find them again should you wish to reinstall.
PLEASE MICROSOFT - FOLLOW THEIR LEAD,
THIS IS WHAT USERS WANT - THE ABILITY TO MANAGE OUR OWN APPS!!!!
