Unable to print boarding pass from jetblue website

When trying to print a boarding pass, the app will invoke acrobat in order to display the file in pdf format, but nothing happens.

I am able to print pdf files or any other files, the problem is not with the printer, or drivers.

The problem is with windows 8.1, after the updates to .1.

Not running enhanced mode, is not IE11, it does work with windows 7.

The problem was caused by kb2957151, removed update now it works.

Anil how critical is not installing kb2957151?.

I have update set to automatic, when this kb is installed again, the problem will come back.

What is a permanent solution?.

KB2957151 is an Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1. See: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42788

 

As you have removed the update from the computer, I would suggest you to place the computer in clean boot to check if any third party application is causing the issue, as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.

Note: After troubleshooting, see the section “Reset the computer to start as usual” to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

 

Now try installing the update manually.

How do you uninstall the update?  I have the same issue printing boarding passes on the jetblue site.  Running 8.1 on an HP Spectre.

Hi Don.

Go to control panel, select Programs and Features, click on view installed updates, find the update

right click and select uninstall.

If using IE under internet options, select advanced tab under security uncheck enable enhanced protected mode.

All those may work for 8.1 but what about Windows 10? Whatever happened to thorough testing
