Q: IRQL Not Less or Equal

Good Day,

I am getting this error message on restart on a Lenovo laptop running 8.1.  Here is a link to the DMP files.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/1brazktqhhwjz4y/032614-38500-01.zip  Could someone please have a look at them and let me know what the problem is?  I assume there is some driver needing to be updated.  Thanks!

Hi,

The attached DMP file is of the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) bug check.

This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.

This bug check is issued if paged memory (or invalid memory) is accessed when the IRQL is too high. The error that generates this bug check usually occurs after the installation of a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS.

Remove and replace ESET with Windows 8's built-in Windows Defender for temporary troubleshooting purposes as it's likely causing conflicts:
