Manage corporate users using Office 365 subscriptions for application such as Skype, OneDrive, Windows Store

Original Title: "windows 8.1" how to manage "corporate users" "windows store"

In Windows 8.x, how can a small company/business who is using Office 365, manage their corporate user's Microsoft Accounts which give them access to the Windows Store, Skype, OneDrive, etc.

Below is a summary of my understanding of Office 365 ID/account and a Microsoft Account.

Outook Office 365 - Office 365 ID

Lync - Office 365 ID

OneDrive for Business - Office 365 ID

Skype - Microsoft account

Windows Store - Microsoft account

Windows 8.x login - Microsoft account

OneDrive - Microsoft account

How can a small business manage a user’s Microsoft account?

How can a small business remove locally synced Office 365 OneDrive files and Outlook email cache from a Windows 8.x's Microsoft account?

A company is not going to want users logging into the company provided Windows 8 computers/device using their personal Microsoft Account. And a company is not going to want users accessing/syncing their personal OneDrive, or Skype account while using the companies corporate Windows 8 computers/device.

So I am attempting to understand how best corporate users can manage Windows 8 and the Windows 8 Microsoft Account?

So far it seems that companies who use Office 365 and do not want Windows 8.x users to use their own Microsoft accounts will need to create Microsoft Accounts for each user (using the user's Office 365 corporate email account) and manage these as a separate exercise to the user's Office 365 ID/accounts.

If there are better ways to manage Corporate Micosoft accounts that  are required by Windows 8, please let me know.

Yes I do require further assistance, do you have any idea of how to address the above issue that I propose? "How to manage windows 8.1 corporate user accounts for Office 365 and Windows Store and other Windows Apps".  I ask this question here, as it is not a Windows 7 issue, the issue only exists because of Windows 8.x and its apparent need for a "Microsoft Account" and so far I have not found any information about how a company can manage their user's Microsoft Accounts, it seems to me that "Microsoft Accounts" were created with only personal users in mind, and if this is true this means that Windows 8.x is designed as a personal/home operating system, not a business or enterprise operating system.

By the way, the Office 365 forum just said that this was a Windows issue, not an Office 365 issue.  All I want is a satisfactory method to manage business users who are using Windows 8.x to access Office 365.

Hi,

This query is regarding OneDrive for Business using Office 365 subscription to manage corporate users. We troubleshoot issues related to OneDrive consumer users. While using OneDrive for Business in a corporate or business environment, there are different security and policy settings that are takes into considerations. We, while handling OneDrive for consumer, do not have enough resources to work on issues related those settings.

So, Office 365 support team is the best point of contact on the issue. Otherwise, as you are a domain user, you may also post the question in Microsoft TechNet forum. Refer to the link to do so:

Pinaki,

I would suggest you are wrong. This is a community forum for Windows 8.1 relating to Security, Privacy and Accounts.  And that is where my questions relate to. Another issue that relates to this is the use of Windows Store Apps. I don't see there is a difference between Home users, Small Business uses, or Enterprise users, they all use a version of Windows that is infected with OneDrive and with the Metro UI. This is a open forum to discuss any matter that relate to Windows 8 for the entire community of Windows Users.

Please read the statement from the Web site below, surely this is not true? Surely Enterprise companies can Sideload or at least distribute to all their users any Windows Store App that they purchase a corporate license for ?  Surely Microsoft would not have excluded one the their largest markets ?  Why else would Windows Servers and the Enterprise version of Windows 8 be burdened with the Metro UI and Windows Store if they cannot actually use it?
