hey i need to start my bluetooth service using the link  { windows+r (services.msc) } but when ever i click start to start the service the following message comes up, "

error 1057: the account name is invalid or does not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name specified" can you please help me out? 

(UPDATE) so i know the account name now (local account) but i cant figure out the password. 

(UPDATE again) I figured it out myself the name was not local account instead it was local service with no password sorry for disturbing.

I am sorry to know that you are unable to turn on the Bluetooth service. Do not worry, will assist you with the issue.

Have you logged in using administrator account?

Let us try to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Also enter your email address and password in Log On option under Properties window of the service you are trying to Start.

  1. Press Windows Logo Key+R and then type services.msc.
  2. Right-click on the service and click on Properties, then on Log On.
  3. Click on This account and browse for the account/enter your account and password.
  4. Then click on Apply and Ok.

my problem goes deeper --in addition to the does not exist part, I am being threatened with Microsoft shutting down my account -- the account that does not exist but I have to pay for!~  Catch 22!!!!!!!
