Whenever i fresh boot my laptop, the Logon/Lock screen whill show momentarily then turns black (crash?). Nothing works, so i power cycle the laptop and i can logon fine. Ocassionally, when the laptop resumes from standby, this also happens. However, a reboot
after a sucessful startup would just boot normally.

From my understanding nvumdshimx.dll is NVDIA's D3D driver. I've tried reinstalling/uninstalling the NVIDIA drivers and rolling back to an earlier version, but the crashes still happen.
