I understand that your webcam is not working. This could be a hardware issue and the issue could also occur due to corrupt or outdated drivers.
I would like to know;
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- Do you have any pending updates?
I would suggest you to follow the methods below and check it that helps.
Method 1. Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.
It checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.
What if a wired device isn't installed properly?
Refer to the section “Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter”
If issue still persists try method 2.
Method 2: Uninstall the Webcam driver and reinstall it.
Step 1: Uninstall the Webcam Drivers from Program List in Control Panel.
- Press Windows + X key on the keyboard
- Click on Control Panel
- Now click on Programs and select Programs and Features.
- Find the Webcam Driver
- Right click Webcam Driver and select
Uninstall.
- Reboot the computer after the uninstall process has finished.
Step 2: Install drivers from manufacturer website.
Go to the Dellwebsite,
download and install the latest drivers for the Webcam from computer.

Check software settings.
Check the color settings of the camera. If you are using any third party software for webcam, please check the setting to adjust the color.
