Problem with graphics driver in windows 8

hi i always have error after playing any game in windows 8.1 the game close after 5 minutes of playing and this message show up "graphics driver has stopped responding and has recovered" , i was playing the same game which is hitman absolution and many other games in windows 7 without any problem now after upgrading to windows 8.1 pro every game show the same error , PS : when this error happens if i tried to open any other game it won't last less than 3 seconds and it will close without showing any error. 


I have a Hewlett Packard PC with this spec :
-Intel core i5-2400 @3,10 CPU
-7 GB Ram @1600
-Nvidia Geforce Gt-610 Zotac Synergy Edition 2gb (Driver Version 332.21) 
-Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit

Any help with that ?? , it's really annoying please help me .

I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if it works for you.

Method 1:

Try updating the Video card drivers from HP or Nvidia website or from Windows update and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to update the Video card driver:

a.       Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.

b.      Expand ‘Display Adapters’.

c.       Right-click on the Video card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.

 

Method 2:

Try reinstalling the Video card drivers and check if the issue persists.

Step 1: Follow the steps provided below to uninstall the video card drivers:

a. Press Windows + X keys and select Device manager.

c. Right-click on the Video card and click on Uninstall.

d. Restart the computer.

Step 2: Download the drivers from Nvidia or from HP website and install it.
