my camera in my nextbook is blank. it wont work. help

It was working just fine and suddenly it didn't. I don't understand what I did.

I understand that you are experiencing problem with camera not working in nextbook. 

I can understand the inconvenience you have experienced.

In order to understand the issue more clearly, I would request you to kindly provide me with the following information.

  • Which version of nextbook you are using?

  • Are you getting any error message? If yes, what is the exact error message along with the error code?

I would suggest you to try following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Run inbuilt Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if it works. Follow the steps given below.

Note: If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try using the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to fix the problem. It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly.

  1. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

  2. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.

  3. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.

  4. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

If the issue still persists, please follow method 2.

Method 2:

Use System Restore and check if it works.

Note:  When you use System Restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you installed are removed.

Important: Please perform only system restore.

Also, I would suggest you to refer to the computer manufacturer website and try installing the latest camera and graphic card drivers and check if it works.
