Q: Can`t print on MaKerBot Replicator 2x using 3D Builder This thread is locked from future replies

Original title: "3D Builder"

Hi, Can`t print on MaKerBot Replicator 2x, why?

Hi,

Please answer few questions to narrow down the issue,

1. What happens when you print?

2. Do you get any error messages?

3. Is MakerBot Replicator 2 getting recognized in Devices and Printers? What happens when you connect the device to the computer?

I would suggest you to refer this article for more information.

Did you every work out why?  I have the same issue, the 2X installs as a 2 and the print spooler just shows 'Error - Printing'

Cheers,

Stephen.

My guess would be that MakerBot wrote a variant of the Sailfish firmware for the dual-extruder Replicator2X (as opposed to the standard Replicator2); it's probably rare enough and seemingly related enough to have escaped the team's notice.
