BSOD - IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

mason2smart asked on
This BSOD has occured twice - once when logging in and once when trying to run Battlefield 4
BF4 multiplayer still crashes, then turns white and forces me to log out or restart if it doesn't cause bluescreen because I can't close it. This may or may not have to do with the BSOD's. I have three dumps-two from BSOD's and one from the windows Driver checker. It blames it on the System Power Kernel. I would appreciate any help.

Hi Mason,

We have three dump files, two of the same bug check and one different:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)

This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.

This bug check is issued if paged memory (or invalid memory) is accessed when the IRQL is too high. The error that generates this bug check usually occurs after the installation of a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS.

DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)

This is the general bug check code for fatal errors found by Driver Verifier.

Despite the name of the bug check, it's failing to detect a driver in violation, therefore this is possibly a hardware issue.

1. Be 100% sure your Killer network drivers are up to date - http://www.killergaming.com/support/driverdownloadsupport

2. Uninstall Razer Comms, it's known to cause a wide variety of crashes and freezes, etc.
