Having problems with playing GTA IV

2 weeks ago, more or less, I bought the GTA collection on Steam for a steal of 10 dollars. Played through all the games no problem, until I started playing GTA IV. Installing the game went fine, it was tedious to get all the accounts set up, but I was finally playing the game after such a long time of not having the hardware for it.

It's been running smoothly, but I reached a certain mission in the game, and as I'm trying to complete the first objective, my entire computer crashes as I get to the location, and I get BSOD'd with the error DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. The mission is called Logging On, basically I had to go to an internet cafe and set my e-mail up. When I enter the internet cafe, my computer just straight up crashes. I can do all the other missions just fine. Even when I want to enter said internet cafe whilst not on the mission, it still crashes my computer.

I don't know the procedures on how to help you guys help me so I'm hoping you can tell me what to do on that front.

Thanks in advance.
