How do I access my previously installed Microsoft Office 2003 folders and files and printer drivers?

I accidentally installed Windows 8 on my laptop. Now I can not find my Microsoft Office 2003 folders or files on the laptop. When I try to print an Office 2003 file stored on a thumb drive through the laptop, now running Windows 8, nothing happens. What can I do to get my Office 2003 files and printer drivers back?

Is there a folder named C:\Windows.old on your drive. Note:  You may need to enable show hidden files and folders.

You may not need to if you can see the Windows.old folder. THe links below are for Windows 7 but they should apply to Windows 8 also.
