I've been using the File History tool for a while now.  After doing a restore from the Win 7 restore tool I can no longer use File History.  It runs for a second and then stops.  I've been looking through the forums and most of the solutions are only more questions.  How does one reset File History to out-of-box state.  I'm using Win 8 RTM.  Thanks!

I ended up doing a reset of the OS and everything seems to work.  Thank you for your swift reply.  I still have two questions:

 

1. Should I use either File History or Win 7 Restore/Backup, but not both?

2.  It seems like the File History settings are synced in the cloud (I'm using a MS Account to login.) Is that true?
