Windows 8 IE Security - will not allow Franklin-Covey PlanPlus to run

I have successfully run PlanPlus for Outlook v7 with Outlook 2010 on the consumer preview and release preview versions of Windows 8, but I am getting 'script errors' on the RTM version which prevent it from working. When trying to force it to display the home page I am being notified in the window that IE Security is preventing the page from loading.   PlanPlus uses IE to display html inside Outlook. I scanned through the security settings inside IE and it appears that most are restricting ActiveX scripts in some form or another but changing any of them requires a full reboot to work.

Is there a way to adjust the global security to allow local access to the browser without affecting its security while online on the web?
